Common questions

How do credits work?

Each comic assessment uses one credit. New accounts start with free credits to try the app. More can be purchased in the app in three packs — Comic Stack (5 assessments, $10), Comic Wall (20 assessments, $30), and Short Box (100 assessments, $100). Credits don't expire.

Why was my book not graded?

If the photos don't show a comic clearly — wrong subject, blurry, too dark, or the book is partially off-frame — the assessment may decline to grade and you won't be charged a credit. Re-photograph the book against a flat surface in good light and try again. The most common issue is glare from overhead lights washing out the cover.

I think the grade is wrong. What now?

Robograder predicts grades from photos, and even professional graders disagree on the same book by up to a full grade point. If you have an official CGC or PSA grade for the book and want to flag a mismatch, email us with the cert number and we'll review. Your feedback also helps us calibrate the system.

Refunds

If credits were charged for an assessment that didn't work due to a bug on our end, email us and we'll restore them. For purchase refunds, contact us within 30 days of the transaction.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from the Settings menu in the app. This permanently removes your collection, assessments, and account information. If you'd rather take a break than delete, you can simply stop using the app — your data stays put until you decide.
